John Humphrey, the UK Trade Commissioner for Africa, announced that a delegation of 12 British companies will visit Morocco from October 15 to 17.

In a tweet on X, Humphrey, who serves as an advisor to King Charles III, stated: “In preparation for Morocco hosting the 2030 FIFA World Cup, a delegation of 12 British companies will explore partnership opportunities during their visit from October 15 to 17, 2024.”

Humphrey also shared a short video produced by the UK government highlighting investment opportunities in Morocco ahead of the 2030 World Cup.

Fouzi Lekjaa, the Minister Delegate in Charge of Budget and President of the 2030 World Cup bid, previously met with representatives from the UK Infrastructure and Major Projects Authority (AIP).

A delegation from the AIP had visited Morocco to meet with senior Moroccan officials to explore opportunities for supporting the implementation of major projects and infrastructure programs, particularly in light of Morocco’s hosting of the 2030 World Cup.
