A top Chinese basketball player was suspended after he reportedly smuggled his girlfriend into his dorm room in a suitcase.
According to media reports, basketball player Zhang Xingliang snuck his girlfriend into his room ahead of a match just so he could help her with her homework.
She reportedly shared photos in Zhang’s room, including one showing her squeezing herself inside a suitcase.
Consequently, basketball club Guangzhou Loong Lions announced on Wednesday that Xingliang would be suspended from participating in matches for “inappropriately handling personal matters.”
