Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola expects Erling Haaland to be back ‘soon’ after missing the 2-0 loss against Liverpool due to an injury, potentially as early as on Wednesday against Tottenham Hotspur.
Haaland, 24, was left out of City’s squad for Sunday’s game after injuring his knee during the 4-0 victory over Newcastle United on February 15.
The Norweigan striker was also an unused substitute in the Champions League defeat by Real Madrid on Wednesday.
“Apparently it’s (the injury’s) not dangerous,” Guardiola said after the Liverpool defeat.
