The Israeli military has accused six Al Jazeera reporters in Gaza of being affiliated with Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad, citing documents allegedly linking them to the armed wings of these groups.
Al Jazeera condemned the accusations, calling it “a blatant attempt to silence the few remaining journalists in the region, thereby obscuring the harsh realities of the war from audiences worldwide.”
The network has faced ongoing pressure from Israel, which has restricted its operations and barred most international media from Gaza, except under strict military oversight.
