Lebo M, the South African artist who contributed to The Lion King soundtrack, started performing at the age of nine in Johannesburg nightclubs. Now 60, he returns to Cape Town for his first solo performance, aiming to inspire the next wave of South African talent. Joining him are his daughter, Hans Zimmer, and some of the country’s top performers. Tom Canetti and Stefan Carstens spoke with the man behind the music legend.
