Macron, Merz, Starmer and Tusk on joint visit to Kyiv to pressure Russia into ceasefire

French President Emmanuel Macron, British PM Keir Starmer, Polish President Donald Tusk and Germany’s Chancellor Friedrich Merz meet Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Kyiv on Saturday in a bid to pressure Russia to commit to a “full and unconditional” 30-day ceasefire. It is the first time the four European leaders are on a joint visit to Ukraine.
