Mike Tyson punched a boxing pad in half to showcase his devastating power ahead of his highly anticipated comeback fight with Jake Paul.
The stunning display of strength came in a recent training video shared by Most Valuable Promotions, where Tyson’s coach, Rafael Cordeiro, marveled at the sheer force of the punch.
“Can you imagine Jake’s face?” Cordeiro joked, highlighting how Tyson’s power could overwhelm his upcoming opponent, Jake Paul.
Despite concerns about his health, including a flare-up of ulcers and struggles with walking after training, Tyson has steadily proven he remains a force to be reckoned with.
In addition to breaking pads, the 58-year-old was seen sparring and working on strength and conditioning, with a sparring partner even being sent through the ropes by one of Tyson’s thunderous punches.
Tyson’s physical condition has impressed even his long-time associate, Gene Kilroy, who described Tyson as being in the best shape he’s ever seen him, just days to go before his fight against Jake Paul on November 15 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
