Four people died in a plane crash in southern Philippines on Thursday, local authorities announced.
The private plane crashed on a farm in the municipality of Ampatuan, on the island of Mindanao.
Causes of the crash have not yet been determined, and the four victims have yet to be identified, police spokesman Jopy Ventura stated.
According to initial reports, the aircraft collided with a water buffalo as it fell, fatally injuring the animal.
The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines confirmed the accident without providing further details.
