South Korea’s suspended President Yoon Suk Yeol, who was impeached in December following his short-lived attempt to impose martial law, appeared at his impeachment hearing for the first time on Tuesday. Responding to the judges’ questions, Yoon denied having ordered the military to “drag out” lawmakers from the country’s parliament.
