Spain will invest almost 2.3 billion euros ($2.4 billion) in new aid to help stricken citizens recover from the country’s worst floods in decades, Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez said on Wednesday.
The fresh package comprising 60 measures which will be approved by the cabinet on Thursday will bring the total amount of aid provided in the wake of last month’s disaster to 16.6 billion euros, he told parliament.
