A 24-year-old man was arrested by French cybercrime authorities in connection with a €210 million cryptocurrency theft, following a three-year international investigation involving Morocco, the UAE, and South Korea.
The suspect is accused of hacking the South Korean exchange “Coinrail” in 2018, stealing €26 million in cryptocurrencies. As cryptocurrency values skyrocketed, the stolen funds ballooned to €210 million.
