Since Donald Trump’s crackdown on immigration, Panama has been flooded by migrants returning south, with more than 2,200 arriving in the country in February alone. The country has been housing some migrants in shelters located in the remote jungle of the Darien region. But amid reports of harsh conditions in the centres, some would rather take their chances on the streets.
