The United Arab Emirates (UAE) strongly condemned Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s recent remarks regarding the creation of a Palestinian state on Saudi territory, calling them “unacceptable and provocative.”
In a statement released by the official UAE news agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs denounced the comments as a “blatant violation of international law and the United Nations Charter,” categorically rejecting Netanyahu’s claims.
Minister of State Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar reaffirmed the UAE’s full solidarity with Saudi Arabia, stating that the kingdom’s sovereignty is a “red line” and warning that the UAE would not tolerate any threat to Saudi security and stability.
Al Marar also reiterated the UAE’s firm opposition to “any infringement on the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people or attempts to forcibly displace them.” He called for an immediate halt to Israeli settlement activities, which he described as a threat to regional stability and a major obstacle to peace and coexistence.
The UAE reaffirmed its commitment to protecting Palestinian rights and emphasized the urgent need for a political solution leading to an independent and sovereign Palestinian state.
Finally, Abu Dhabi urged the international community, the United Nations, and the UN Security Council to take responsibility and put an end to illegal actions that violate international law.
