Kemi Badenoch, leader of the UK’s Conservative Party, has called for an investigation into whether Hamas received payments from the BBC during the production of Gaza: How to Survive a War Zone, the Daily Mail repored.
In a letter to BBC Director-General Tim Davie, Badenoch questioned if UK taxpayer funds were used to support the terrorist group.
She criticized the BBC for biased coverage of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and threatened to withdraw support for the license fee unless action was taken. Badenoch called for an independent inquiry into the matter, questioning how the BBC could produce a program from Gaza without ensuring participants weren’t affiliated with Hamas.
