Fintech Galaxy claims first multi-bank Open Finance connectivity in Jordan
Fintech Galaxy said on 24 September 2026 it became the first company in Jordan to achieve multi-bank Open Banking integration and account aggregation on its FINX Connect platform while participating in the Central Bank of Jordan’s JoRegBox sandbox, according to a company release carried by Open Banking Expo.
Fintech Galaxy said on 24 September 2026 it became the first company in Jordan to achieve multi-bank Open Banking integration and account aggregation through its FINX Connect platform, marking a milestone in the kingdom’s shift toward Open Finance, according to a company press release published by Open Banking Expo.
The firm says FINX Connect is built to connect multiple financial institutions securely, aggregate customer data with consent, and lay groundwork for payment initiation and AI-powered financial services. It is testing consent-based data sharing and payment initiation inside JoRegBox, the Central Bank of Jordan’s regulatory sandbox under the Open Finance Services Instructions. Fintech Galaxy also states it is already regulated by the Central Bank of Bahrain as an AISP/PISP and holds in-principle approval from the Central Bank of the UAE as an Open Finance provider—positioning a Bahrain–UAE–Jordan corridor claim that Hada attributes to the company, not to independent certification audits.
CEO Mirna Sleiman frames the product vision as moving from Open Banking to Open Finance and “intelligent and invisible finance,” including cash-flow forecasting and embedded finance after the multi-bank launch. Hada does not invent bank names, user counts, or accuracy metrics absent from the release. Adjacent Petra coverage of the Central Bank of Jordan’s Fintech Festival (Dead Sea, late September) underscores the regulator’s open-finance agenda without substituting for the company milestone.
Why it matters for Technology desks: a sandbox-stage first multi-bank aggregation claim in Jordan with dual Gulf regulatory footholds—useful for open-finance and banking product reporters tracking Levant rails after heavier UAE AI launches earlier in the week.
